“Fodor’s Choice” Fodor’s Travel Guide has named Calico as the “Fodor’s Choice” for Rhinebeck Restaurants for two consecutive years.

Wine Spectator- Award of Excellence

Zagat rated us “Outstanding Restaurant”

Chef and Co Owner Anthony Balassone was inducted
into the Chaine des Rotisseurs

In the Taste of the Hudson Valley Competition Calico was awarded
1st Place for Appetizer and 1st Place for Dessert, The People’s Choice Award,
and the Grand Award called the “Sonnenschmidt” Award.

Chef Anthony Balassone and Pastry Chef Leslie Balassone have been invited to
be guest Chef’s at the acclaimed Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.

Calico has been invited six times to prepare dinner at the
James Beard House in New York City.

Wedding Cakes from our Pastry kitchen was featured on Style Network television
show “Whose Wedding is it Anyway“.

Hudson Valley Magazine Readers Choice Awards named Calico “Best Bistro”,
“Restaurant with the Best Value”, “Best Dessert Cart”, “Best Special Occasion Cake”.

Poughkeepsie Journal awarded us 5 out of 5 stars in their restaurant review.

Kingston Freeman awarded us 4 out of 4 stars in their review.
